Raiding
Where did you hear about Team Solid?: One of your officers used to raid in my current guild 'Halcyon' on Al'akir, she told me about what you guys are doing and I would very much like to be a part of it.
Why Team Solid?: Solid progression with hours that don't interfere with my main guild or my social life, I've also heard great things about the social atmosphere of the guild which is something that is personally very important to me when looking for a new home.
Why are you leaving your old guild?: I will be continuing to raid with Halcyon, as the days we raid do not conflict with yours.
Can you attend all our raids? Of course
Previous guilds and experience: I started raiding during Cataclysm, at first very socially. My experience is as follows:
Bastion of Twilight: 4/4 Normal
Blackwing Decent: 6/6 Normal
Throne of the Four winds: 2/2 Normal
Firelands: 4/7 Normal
Dragon Soul: 6/8 Heroic
Mists of Pandaria
Mogu'shan Vaults: 4/6 Heroic
Heart of Fear: 2/6 Heroic
Terrace of Endless Spring: 4/4 Normal
Throne of Thunder: 7/13 Heroic
Siege of Orgrimmar: 14/14 Heroic
Warlords of Draenor
Highmaul: 7/7 Mythic
Blackrock Foundry: 10/10 Mythic

I thought I'd go into more detail about my opinion of the current specs available to hunters and what fights each spec excels at.
Survival: Only really worth playing if you have high (25%+) Multistrike rating, in the early stages of progression it was undeniably the best spec to use, since Beast Mastery required the 4-Set and high levels of mastery to make the most of. The 2-Set bonus gave survival a fairly decent quality of life change, and worked very well in conjunction with the 4-Set that gave a 15% damage increase on our Multistrike for 3 seconds when casting explosive shot. However this wasn't the reason why Survival pulled ahead on single target DPS, the reason lies within the way you adapt your rotation when sitting above (60%) MS rating, usually within trinket procs. The way you did this was by spamming arcane shot as the initial damage from improved serpent sting + the damage from arcane shot all procced Multistrikes of themselves, which lead to alot of speratic burst phases. This meant that speccing into ToTH was the mandatory talent choice for this tier.
Beast Mastery: Only became exceptionally strong once the 4-Set and high levels of mastery were achieved. But the real damage increase lies within your pets frenzy stacks, and Focus fire usage. After a buff in WoD Focus fire gave a 8% Attack power as well as a 6% Haste buff which scaled very well with stampede and BW, as well as a direct damage increase from our mastery. However it was only effective if you knew when to use it, the main rule was to always have it active during Stampede or BW but you could use it in other situations that a WA couldn't tell you to use it in. For example: if you were approaching a point in a fight where there would be 6+ adds up for 5+ seconds, you should use any frenzy stacks you can. The same rule applies if the boss will die in under 20 seconds.
Marksmanship: Arguably the weakest spec on average throughout Blackrock Foundry, I personally only played it on Blast furnace progress where we demanded high single target damage on demand, something that the other 2 specs lacked at the time of progression. Personally before going into a fight as MM on progression I would consider a few things; are there going to be times where I can kill shot off targets that fall below 35%? How long will the boss remain sub 35%? And are there any mechanics that do not allow me to stand still for a large majority of the fight?
Gruul: Beast Mastery - Superior Single target.
Oregorger: Survival - Multi dotting crates and 100% uptime on the boss.
Blast Furnace: Beast Mastery/Marksmanship - On demand burst on targets that need it.
Beastlord Darmac: Survival/Beast Mastery - SV if you're having issues with spears/Beast Mastery if you're having issues with Pack Beasts.
Operator Thogar: Survival/Beast Mastery - SV for cannon damage and High single target/BM for Man at arms and Firemender Damage.
Iron Maidens: Any spec is viable here. BM if you're going up on boats.
Hans & Franzok: Survival/Beast Mastery - Survival for superior two target cleave/BM if fight length is 5+ mins.
Flamebender Ka'graz: Beast Mastery - Optimal 5 Target cleave and two stampedes.
Kromog: Survival for Pillar damage/Beast Mastery for Grasping Hand damage
Blackhand: Beast Mastery as you can line up stampede with lust in p3 for high burst.
Thank you for reading!
